Frisco Commercial Construction Updates

Frisco, Texas is one of the fastest growing cities in the country. Looking ahead, there are numerous projects currently under construction and in the works including new hotels, attractions, as well as shopping and dining options for residents and visitors. View details for these projects below.

NATIONAL SOCCER HALL OF FAME

Scheduled to open October 2018, the National Soccer Hall of Fame is currently under construction at the south end of Toyota Stadium, making it the first national sports hall of fame to be attached to a stadium. The $39-million project will feature more than 100,000 square feet of renovated space, including new locker rooms, additional premium seats, a private club and the hall of fame.

The 24,000-square- foot National Soccer Hall of Fame will be set on the top level of the three-level stadium addition. It will house an array of U.S. Soccer memorabilia and trophies, including the Women’s World Cup, Gold Cup and Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup trophies. It will also be the permanent site for the annual National Soccer Hall of Fame induction ceremony. A new 5,000- seat amphitheater will also allow the stadium to host some smaller events, such as small concerts or corporate events.

FRISCO STATION

Frisco Station will be a new-urban development designed from top to bottom to enhance the well-being of all who visit, live and work there. The community is built around an innovative wellness program that brings together fitness amenities, medical facilities and wellness programming in a brand new way. The entire project covers over 242 acres, anticipates a future resident population of just over 3,400 people, will offer 9 acres of green and open space, will be next door to Ford Center at The Star and will have a daytime employment population of just over 14,000 people.

LIFESTYLE HOTEL CAMPUS

Soon there will be an ambitious and innovative 4-brand, 600-room lifestyle hotel campus at Frisco Station, a 242-acre, mixed-use development located in the northwest quadrant of the Dallas North Tollway and Warren Parkway in Frisco, Texas. The campus will include a dual- brand AC Hotel and Residence Inn, both by Marriott, featuring about 300 rooms plus a Canopy by Hilton and a Hyatt Place, each featuring about 150 rooms. AC and Canopy are chic lifestyle brands, while Residence is an upscale extended-stay brand and Hyatt Place is a select-service brand. Construction on the hotels will take place in two phases, with three hotels — the AC, Residence, and Canopy.
