Frisco Development Highlights
Developers are turning dirt throughout Frisco. Developments include office parks, a hotel, and residential communities. The following are some development highlights of different projects coming soon.
Hyatt Regency Stonebriar
Hotel developer Sam Moon Group and the city of Frisco broke ground May 9 on an 18-story, 303-room hotel, Hyatt Regency Stonebriar. The hotel will be attached to Stonebriar Centre, 2601 Preston Road, on the second floor and will be located between Dillard’s and Nordstrom. The project will feature a 54,585-square-foot conference center, including a grand ballroom, junior ballroom, and additional event spaces. The hotel will include an 800-space parking garage and a Frisco Public Library branch. The hotel is expected to be complete in 2020.
Legacy Medical Office
Construction began in early January on this medical office building on the northeast corner of Main Street and Legacy Drive. The single-story building is 26,000 square feet and will be completed in September. Four acres north of the property will also eventually become more medical/office condos. The developer of the project is Clearfork Properties.
Station House
The first phase of the residential development at Frisco Station will be complete in July at 4141 Frisco Green Ave. Construction on the entire complex will be complete in October. Station House is a 300-unit urban living community that is four stories with a parking garage. The complex is now preleasing through construction. The development broke ground January 2017. Station House offers different floor plans that range in size.
Waterstone Office Park
The second phase of Waterstone Office Park is under construction at the southwest corner of FM 423 and Lebanon Road. Construction on the third phase of the project will begin later this year. The first phase of the office park was completed in spring 2017. The development will include medical and office space.
Windhaven Senior Living Community
A new senior living community is under construction at 2828 Nature Way, Frisco. The facility is nearly 50,000 square feet. The facility will include a large in-house common area, community courtyard,
library, and patios. Construction is expected to be complete this summer.
